As Program Coordinator for Gender and Health, Jana Spacek facilitates CIFA’s Interfaith Action on Empowerment of Women and Girls, liaising with the Women, Faith and Development Alliance (WFDA) and supporting CIFA Health Programs.
Jana has worked and volunteered for projects relating to the intersection of gender, health and development for the past seven years. Most recently, she studied at the Center for Global Education in Namibia and worked with a local NGO, Women’s Solidarity Namibia, developing income generating opportunities for survivors and women at risk of gender based violence. She has travelled extensively in Europe, East Asia, and Africa and speaks fluent Czech.
Jana received her Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Social Change, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies at Clark University.
