Born in Poland, Rajmund Dabrowski studied journalism and religion in England and in the United States. His professional life included such positions as editor-in-chief and manager of a publishing house in Poland. In 1985 he was elected as Communication and Public Affairs & Religious Liberty Director of the Trans-European Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, headquartered in St. Albans, England. He became Communication Director for the world church in 1994. He is also vice president of the Washington D.C.-based International Religious Liberty Association. In addition also serves as Director of the Adventist News Network and has coordinated a process to establish the church’s global corporate identity. Dabrowski’s past and current activities also include various human rights and social and development initiatives, including public awareness programs through media.
