Uniting religions

for common action

on health and development challenges.

The Faith Effect

For millennia, faith leaders and faith institutions have guided the beliefs, behaviors and actions of communities in every nation, on every continent.

By organizing across religious lines, CIFA harnesses The Faith Effect, the powerful magna vox of coordinated multi-religious action around a single, common cause.

CIFA establishes partnerships between the religious sector, governments and international institutions to integrate the leadership and behavior change capabilities of faith leaders into government-led health and development campaigns.

Our Approach

CIFA’s operational approach is to gather evidence to inform the creation of new programs; to mobilize faith leaders, governments and international actors around a specific, common cause; and to deploy faith leaders with models, tools and resources to catalyze attitudinal and behavioral change among individuals, communities and societies.
